Some people enjoy jumping in on every activity they can think of while camping and others want to simply exist for the duration of their trip. We understand both desires and are here to help each type of camper get their wishes.
When it comes to the camper who just wants to chill we have a few suggestions that might make it easier to achieve that goal. More work on the front end will result in less chores at the campsite. You can make several meals ahead and freeze them. Keep them well packed in a cooler and you should be good for a few days. If all you have to do is thaw and heat your meals will require a lot less work and you’ll be lounging comfortably back in your chair before you know it.
Foil packet cooking is popular and the ingredients can be chopped at home so assembly before you drop them on the grill is easy when you are ready to eat. There is no cleanup required. Simply toss the foil and you’re all set. Bring foods the kids can get for themselves when they want a snack such as cut up fruit or trail mix.
Cabin rental is as easy as it gets. You simply pull up, unpack a few supplies and you’re camping. You might like to give it a try on those weekends you are pressed for time and just want to get away without all the work of setting up a tent or RV.
We want you to have your camping stay just the way you like it and if that means vegging for a few days then we’re happy to help you achieve it.
