Start with a clean container. I like an ice tea jar or a mason jar to make lemonade in. Choose your favorite lemonade base and make your lemonade using fresh chilled water.
Leave a bit of room to add in some extra treats so that you can have a delicious and uniquely flavored lemonade.
Raspberry Or Strawberry Lemonade
Add in some fresh raspberries or strawberries to your lemonade and gently stir. Serve chilled for best flavor.
Lavender Lemonade
This is a favorite for many. You’ll need a bottle of lavender flavored syrup and some fresh lavender sprigs for this one. Add in one to two shots of the lavender syrup to your lemonade and garnish it with a few lavender sprigs. Serve chilled.
Cucumber Lemonade
Cucumber is a delicious addition to your water and it works wonderfully in lemonade as well. Start with a fresh jar of chilled water and add in one cucumber. Peel the cucumber and slice thinly for this project. After the cucumber has steeped in the water for a few hours you can mix it in with the lemonade base and serve it chilled. Cucumber is a refreshing taste treat.
Honey Lemonade
Many prefer their lemonade to have the flavor of honey. Add in some honey for this taste treat. For extra nutritional value, use local unpasteurized honey.
Lemonade Tea
Choose your favorite herbal tea and mix it half and half with the lemonade. This is a delicious taste treat that many southerners love.
Lemonade is a tasty treat in the summer and when you’re camping. You can create a variety of flavors simply by mixing and matching your favorite fruits and herbal teas with your lemonade. Serve chilled or hot on a chilly evening for the best taste results.
